Welcome to the L U M I N O U S world of Glass Art!
It sparkles and shimmers, reflecting light in beautiful, ever-changing patterns.
It's simply Heavenly.
Ever since I saw a gorgeous stained glass angel in an old bookstore transome window, I've been in love with stained glass. That was over 25 years ago and things have definitely evolved over the years. I started with a local class, and began cutting and grinding glass in the garage. At our next house, I converted a spare bedroom into an art space. Today, I have a large dedicated art studio that is a joy to create in.
I ❤️ love the reflective COLORS and patterns of the glass pieces
when they start to come 🙌 together. There's something 🪄magical
about being fully absorbed in that creative process,
where💡ideas take shape and time ⏰ itself
seems to disappear . . .
The construction process involves a lot of steps and a lot of time. My original pieces begin from a idea, then onto a sketch, then made into a pattern. Then there's color selection, cutting of the glass, then thoughtfully assembling each piece so they fit together properly. Then there's carefully applying the copper foil in the Tiffany glass art style. Then we'll solder all lines and the exterior edges, clean, apply patina, and finally polish.
With the passing of over 25 years since taking that first class in Colorado, my off & on glass work has matured into develping my own pace and finding my own personal style. It reflects originality and creativity, some even have a distinctive playful style. And all of my designs are rooted in an intentional simplicity. Every art piece is made with care, attention to detail, and skilled craftsmanship. Designed to stand the test of time, it's my hope that each will be treasured for years to come. I invite you to explore the pages on this artist website, with the hope that you’ll find something that catches your interest for yourself or as a gift for someone special.

❝There’s a natural flow to creativity that opens up when we follow our imagination. It all starts with acting on an idea that
lights💡you up! It's interesting to see 👀 where those
small 🌟 sparks of inspiration can lead. ❞
